Renewables Energies

At Total EREN we develop, build and operate renewable energy assets.

At present we have three renewable energy power plants in Argentina: one 30 MWp solar plant (Caldenes del Oeste), two wind power projects of 97.2 MW and 50.4 MW respectively (Vientos Los Hércules and Malaspina), and other projects under way, including a hydrogen project.

Caldenes del Oeste

Caldenes del Oeste is the first solar plant of Total Eren in Argentina and is located in the province of San Luis. With over 92,000 panels and an installed capacity of 30 MWc, it can supply up to 17,000 households.

Malaspina

Malaspina is a 50.4 MW wind farm located in the province of Chubut, south of Argentina. With 14 3.6M114NES wind power turbines and an estimated generation capacity of 245 GWh per year, it can supply up to 60,000 households in Argentina.

Vientos Los Hércules

Vientos los Hércules is a 97.2 MW wind farm located in the province of Santa Cruz, south of Argentina. With 27 3.6M114NES wind turbines and an estimated generation capacity of 400 GWh per year, it can supply up to 110,000 households in Argentina.

With these projects we contribute to the economic and sustainable development of the region, and of the local communities through a fluid communication and constant cooperation with local schools, NGOs and other institutions.

Our expertise in the construction of these power plants encourages us to move forward with other renewable energy projects in Argentina.
